Historically Lynch-Moussas Castle belonged to Count Lynch. The property was, until the nineteenth century, composed of three large plateaus: Madrac, Moussas and Bages.En 1835, the Lynch estate is divided in two: the castle Lynch-Bages and Lynch-Moussas Castle.

These properties will be recognized by the classification of 1855 as Grand Cru Classé.At the beginning of the twentieth, Lynch-Moussas is bought by the Castéja family, also owner at that time of Château Duhart-Milon, it is only in 1970 that Emile Castéja inherits and takes management.

Its vines, moreover, adjoin those of Pichon Baron and Comtesse, Grand-Puy Lacoste and Batailley. The result of a severe selection, the Château Lynch-Moussas is remarkable for its deep color, its elegant bouquet and its flavor, and for that it is found on the biggest tables in the world.
