A dream: Give the best of terroirs.
Jean-Luc's dream of becoming a winemaker came to true in the early 1980s with the acquisition of his first vineyard, a granite hillside planted with old Syrah vines overlooking the village of Cornas.
From there is born the first vintage of Cornas "Les Ruchets" (1987), which becomes the flagship wine of Jean-Luc Colombo wines.
The vineyard is growing and Jean-Luc can finally live fully his passion for wine based on some solid principles: respect for nature and different soils.
