Ferreira Malaquias, founded in 1896, is a family business that has been in the wine business for four generations, and has always, throughout its history, renewed its commitment and dedication through a long-term vision.

Founded by José Ferreira Malaquias in 1896, at the end of the 19th century, the company was already established as a successful wine exporter, with its activity of marketing wines from the Dão region.

In the recent past, Ferreira Malaquias has carried out an extensive investment plan with the aim of presenting to the national and export markets quality wines with character, different styles and an absolute respect for the original terroir.

Today, it has in its portfolio the most renowned wine regions of Portugal - Vinhos Verdes (Minho), Douro, Alentejo and Tejo, and continues the historical link that comes from its foundation, to the wines of the Dão region.

The year 2013 is marked by the impulse of investment in oenology, with the entry of a prestigious group of oenologists, who came to revolutionize all the wines Ferreira Malaquias, expression of all the art of building the best blends and reveal the personality of each region, with knowledge, detail and technology.
