Château Sancerre

Château de Sancerre is one of the few French châteaux to bear the name of an appellation. Located on the left bank of the Loire River, overlooking a unique terroir of 4 different soils, it has 55 hectares of vineyards, planted with vines of an average age of 25 years. The region's rolling hills and semi-continental climate produce well-structured, lively and fresh Sauvignon Blancs with aromas of ripe gooseberry, smoke and gunflint. The wines of Château de Sancerre are vinified and matured until bottling, directly at the Château. The art of blending is demanding in order to remain loyal to the motto of the Connétable de Sancerre: "Pass before the Best".

The entire vineyard has been awarded the HVE level 3 label (High Environmental Value), a certification that attests to an obligation to achieve results in terms of biodiversity, fertilisation management, irrigation and phytosanitary strategy.
