Château Labegorce

Along the famous Route des Châteaux, this elegant neoclassical château covers an area of two hundred and fifty hectares, of which nearly seventy are under vine.

Adjacent to the Châteaux Margaux and Lascombes, this property is mentioned in the 1868 edition of Édouard Féret, which relates the existence of "the lands of the house of Noble de La Bégorce" since 1332. The château is presented as being "... one of the most beautiful and best situated in the commune of Margaux".

Since its purchase in 1989, the Perrodo family has been able to give back to this property all its architectural brilliance and a wine-making dynamism that gives Labégorce a charming wine with a very beautiful structure, with bright fruit and great finesse.

In 2006, the Perrodo family also acquired Château Marquis d'Alesme, the third Grand Cru Classé of Margaux, with the aim of raising this wine to the level of one of the appellation's jewels.
