Franciacorta's historic winery, where farming tradition has harmoniously merged with technology and where craftsmanship and the passionate pursuit of excellence are managed with commitment and entrepreneurial spirit, without compromise.1972 was the year in which entrepreneur Paolo Rabotti, with the invaluable support of his wife Paola, embarked on the path of winemaking. It was an inspired and far-sighted choice that is now carried on with enthusiasm and innovation by his son Emanuele.

The history of Monte Rossa is littered with strategically successful decisions: from being the first to abandon the still wine route in search of excellence in Franciacorta, to investing with determination in technology, to the continuous research and experimentation that sets the winery apart.

Today Monte Rossa governs 70 hectares of vineyards. The different positions of the vineyards on the land and their different exposures contribute to enrich the aromatic heritage of the grapes, in order to compose vintages rich in structure and complexity. The winery produces around 500,000 bottles per year.
