The son of a Savoyard seasonal worker, Jules Paccot bought his first vineyard plots in Féchy. He was succeeded by his son Roger, who set up the "La Colombe" winery in 1961 and built up the estate's reputation. Raymond, Roger's eldest son, was a winegrower by choice and an oenologist by passion when he returned to his roots in Féchy. The Paccots loved this land, chose it. Today, the 4th generation, Laura, is taking over, with the invaluable La Colombe team.
