Founded in 1925, the Cave de Rasteau is one of the oldest cellars in the Rhone Valley and the first producer of the Rasteau appellation (16th Côtes du Rhône Cru).

Located between Vaison-la-Romaine and Orange, it produces wines of character, which reflect all the typicity of an exceptional terroir.The diversity of soils and the various grape varieties give to Rasteau wines an aromatic and gustative complexity, combining power, finesse and elegance. The 80 winemakers from the winery share their passion for the land from generation to generation and work some 750 hectares of vines to produce quality wines; mastery of yields, vineyard management and respect for tradition are at the heart of the concerns of the winery, which owes its notoriety to its prestigious wines: Rasteau sec (AOC 2009) and Rasteau Wines Doux Naturels (AOC 1944), as well as 'au Grenache noir, a grape variety king of these two appellations.
