Description
The Domaine des Curiades, located on the slopes of Lully near Geneva in Switzerland, is a vineyard with over 100 years of history. Planted in the 13th century by the Benedictines, the estate's vines are now run by the Dupraz family, owners since 1909. Jacques and Christophe Dupraz have maintained the tradition of excellence by producing high-quality wines based on terroir and authenticity. Christophe's sons, Xavier and Antoine, and Jacques' son, Lucas, have taken over from them. Together, they perpetuate respect for the terroir, using manual harvesting methods and careful cellar management. Some of the wines, unfiltered and with no added sulphites, reflect their commitment to quality and the environment.
Tasting
This great Burgundy has only been cultivated in the Lully region for half a century. Great care and low yields reward a wine with red fruit and morello cherry aromas and silky tannins. Round and full on the palate, it will reveal all its richness after 2 to 4 years in bottle.
