A deep dark color. Intense and complex nose, laden with very ripe black fruit – plums, blackberries and cherries. Notes of cocoa, black pepper and a soft hint of violet. Unctuous and vigorous, it reveals layered flavors, firm tannins and excellent balance between sweetness and acidity. Long, deep and fresh finish.

Pair it with a main course of red meat or game. Blue or soft cheese (such as Serra da Estrela) are equally well suited. This unique wine's exceptional quality means it's best enjoyed on its own or with a cigar.
