Ottava Rima - Bio 2021

Tenuta L'Impostino, a 52-hectare Tuscan wine estate, combines vineyards, forests and olive groves. Patrizia Chiari, inspired by her grandfather and local tradition, has transformed the estate into a flourishing vineyard. The historic heritage of Imposto and Impostino, medieval stops between Siena and Grosseto, has been carefully restored by the current owners.

Eye: A fresh, lively ruby-red colour.

Nose: The nose opens with intense, very fresh aromas of flowers and fresh, pulpy fruit: violet, cherry and blackberry.

Palate: Well-structured and well-balanced, with a slender body, this wine stands out for its great pleasure on the palate, sustained by good sweetness, well-balanced by fresh sensations and non-invasive tannins.

Serving temperature: 16°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing: An elegant wine, it is an ideal everyday companion and goes very well with traditional cold meats and medium-aged cheeses, well-structured starters, meat and poultry ragù, simmered vegetable sauces and tasty soups. Try it with ribollita, it enhances grilled meats and white meats, ideal with grilled ribs and grilled lamb.
