The Quarter Casks allow the maturing whisky to be 30% more in contact with the wood, which gives it a very special character.

Nose: with hints of peat ash, coconut and banana.

Mouth: it reveals a slight sweetness, with again a lot of peat smoke. Long and dry finish with smoky and spicy notes. Although it was matured in bourbon casks rather than sherry casks, it still has some sherry aromas.
