King George V from Blue Label celebrates the accolade of 'British Royal Purveyor to the Court', which the Walker family received in 1934 in recognition of its exceptional quality. This blend also includes Port Ellen, a very precious malt from a distillery that no longer exists.King George V is contemplative and subtle. The smoke comes from the very unique, now closed Port Ellen distillery, and it is strong, heavy and full. It develops more slowly, but has an unrivalled depth.
