Xavier Ausàs, former oenologist at Vega Sicilia and creator of Alión, is now at the head of his own artisanal estate, and has finally realized his dream. This perfectionist produces just one wine a year. A jewel! He composes the wine and organizes barrel ageing according to the specifics of the vintage. Each wine is therefore his personal interpretation of the year.

Saturated, impenetrable violet from disk to center. Complex bouquet with bewitching notes of black cherry, blueberry and elderberry. Beautiful nuances of cocoa powder, mocha bean and a discreet hint of violet coat the flattering yet extraordinarily concentrated fruit. Youthful charm on the palate of great intensity, extremely concentrated and deep. Compact, silky tannins combine with well-dosed extract sweetness in perfect harmony. A highly successful alchemy of fruity aromas, delicate notes of precious wood and seductive minerality. An authentic Ribera del Duero, already one of the greatest of its appellation, seductive in its elegance and power.

Appearance: Intense cherry-red color with violet hues.

Nose: Complex aromas of ripe black fruits, violet, thyme, and balsamic notes.

Palate: Tense and juicy entry, fine and elegant tannins, long and persistent finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal with grilled red meats, game, aged cheeses.
