Description
Comte Louis de Lauriston is a distillery located in the Domfront region of Normandy. Founded in 1962, its aim is to legalise the distillation of Calvados in this specific region. Domfrontais Calvados is distinguished by its composition, being made with almost 60% pears, giving it a unique sweetness. Hors d'Âge’ is a blend of Calvados aged for over twelve years in oak barrels, offering exceptional complexity and richness.

Tasting
To the eye: Light amber colour with coppery and slightly grey highlights.
On the nose: Powerful aromas of apple pips, leather, orange blossom and barley sugar, with subtle notes of candied fruit.
On the palate: A smooth attack followed by a more spirited but balanced development, with flavours of light tobacco and peach and apple compote.
Food and wine pairing: Ideal with desserts such as apple pie or flaky pastries.
Serving temperature: Serve between 18°C and 20°C to fully appreciate its aromatic complexity.
