Description

Sarget, like Larose Gruaud, benefits from the same care as the great wine. Less powerful, but generous and charming, it also provides pleasure and finesse. In the best years, such as 2010, it approaches a level worthy of the grand crus classés. It is a second wine that almost always offers good value for money.

Tasting

To the eye: Deep red colour.

On the nose: Aromas of fresh red fruit such as cherry and raspberry, with hints of spice.

On the palate: Supple and delicious, with a slightly full-bodied finish.

Food and wine pairing: Goes well with grilled red meats, dishes in sauce and mature cheeses.
