Description
Château Haut-Marbuzet is a renowned Médoc wine estate with a surface area of 65 hectares, located in the commune of Saint-Estèphe and benefiting from the appellation of the same name.
An independent family estate since 1952, it is the work of Hervé, then Henri Duboscq, that has elevated Haut-Marbuzet to the rank of the best wines of the appellation. Initially listed among the Crus Bourgeois of 1932, Haut-Marbuzet was promoted to the rank of Exceptional in the official classification of 2003.
In 2009, the Liv-ex (London International Vintners Exchange) website proposed a revised Bordeaux classification. In its list, it introduced Haut-Marbuzet as a potential fourth growth.

Tasting
‘The very fine nose of violets and black fruit is bewitching. The usual softness of the estate's Merlot, harvested without any over-ripeness, forms the framework of a very smooth palate."
