Château La Lagune 2016

Château La Lagune produces a 3rd Grand Cru Classé of Bordeaux whose blend brings together the emblematic grape varieties of the Médoc - Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot - and offers, over the years, wines renowned for their balance, finesse and elegance.

Planted on one of the most perfect gravelly hilltops in the region, the La Lagune vineyard covers 80 hectares, where Caroline has been working for many years to implement environmentally friendly viticulture, based on organic and biodynamic farming practices.

This natural approach, adapted to each plot, plays a fundamental role in the quality of the wines. It allows the fruit to draw from the soil all the complexity and finesse of a terroir, to give them back to us, thanks to a patient and precise vinification and an ageing in barrels carried out according to the traditional method.

To the eye: Medium garnet-purple colour.

On the palate: Medium-bodied, smooth and lively, with a long finish.

Food and wine pairing: Goes well with red meat, game and mature cheeses.

Serving temperature: Serve between 17°C and 18°C.
