Description
Pavillon Rouge is the second wine of the prestigious Château Margaux, one of Bordeaux’s First Growths. The production of a second wine dates back to the early 17th century, reflecting the estate’s quest for excellence. After a break in the 1930s to 1970s, the production of Pavillon Rouge resumed in 1977 under the direction of André Mentzelopoulos. Today, it represents around 30% of the estate's total production.
