Description
A unique style magnified by time
Complexity. The complexity of Château Palmer's terroir is expressed in its wines. Parcel by parcel, its teams take care of it every day. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, protected and enriched by a diverse natural environment, develop notes of fruit, flowers and spices. No exuberance. Certainly not. But, with the passage of time, the wine becomes even more harmonious and longer-lasting. A velvety combination of aromatic richness and powerful tannins.

Tasting
Eye: Deep purple, opaque centre, violet reflections.
Nose: Delicate, complex bouquet of bigarreau, elderberry juice and white pepper, with subtle notes of graphite, tapenade and dried herbs on the second nose.
Mouth: Royal, velvety and silky mouthfeel, to which the breed and terroir notes lend an exceptional balance. Plums, minerality and sublime astringency on the concentrated and endless finish.
Serving Suggestion: Delicious with braised meats, entrecôte, rump steak, black truffles and beef rib, but also with leg of lamb, duck confit or hard cheeses.
Serve: Between 16 and 18 degrees. Tip: Uncork the bottle one hour before serving, taste the wine and decide if it should be decanted.
