The return to nature at Pontet-Canet has involved constant risk-taking, a development underpinned by real faith and deep passion.

Their internal balance combines contained power, uncommon precision of fruit and undeniable class. They seduce by their full-bodied fruit, the finesse of their mouthfeel and their natural elegance, delivering a natural emotion which enhances their seductive charm.

Tasting
The bouquet of Pontet Canet has a filigree, subtle profile, marked by freshness and hints of dried herbs. Notes of blueberries and raspberries are added, followed after aeration by classic markers such as graphite and a hint of mint. On the palate, the freshness is also reflected in a juicy, slightly salty character. It is above all the finesse and balance that leave their mark on the palate, with a clear symbiosis between the acidity and the tannins. The tannins come through late and are well integrated. The tannins are velvety yet compact and tight, which is essential in harmonising with the temperament of the acid structure. This Pontet Canet combines all its components with great serenity and a fine distribution of the resulting energies. Needless to say, the notion of balance is exceptional. Finesse above all, one of the leitmotifs of 2021.
