Cortes do Tua is a winery located in Portugal's Douro Valley. Founded by two passionate young oenologists, Duarte da Costa and Ana de Almeida, the estate covers 15 hectares of vines divided into distinct plots. The vineyards for the white wines are at an altitude of between 500 and 700 metres, while those for the reds are located on the slopes of the River Tua, at between 300 and 400 metres. Thanks to a combination of international experience and respect for Douro winemaking traditions, Cortes do Tua produces harmonious, balanced and elegant wines.

To the eye: A deep ruby-red colour.

On the nose: Complex, intense aromas of red fruit such as strawberry, raspberry and plum, with a hint of balsamic. 

On the palate: A well-balanced wine with good acidity and firm tannins, offering a long, fruity finish.

Food and wine pairing: Ideal with red meat dishes, pasta or lamb. 

Serving temperature: Serve between 16 and 18°C.
