Whisky Benrinnes 15 ans

After several rebuilds, additions and upgrades, the distillery is now a permanent fixture on the Scotch whisky landscape. With its Wormtub condensers, 60 hour or more fermentation, its own malting floor and sherry casks for storage, Benrinnes distillery is really something special. The 15 year old Flora & Fauna bottling gives a good impression of what goes on in the eight fermentation tanks and six stills.

The Single Malt is drunk neat in a special whisky glass and is a perfect accompaniment to seafood, cheesecakes or chocolate truffles. The aroma has hints of smoke, but is mostly sweet with hints of rum and chocolate and a sherry aftertaste.
