Distillerie Flora & Fauna de Diageo
Whisky Blair Athol 12 ans
Whisky
70cl- Unit
Description
With the "Flora & Fauna" series, the spirits giant Diageo wants to highlight the whiskies of its lesser known distilleries. The aim is to find casks containing a typical whisky for each distillery. For Blair Athol in the Southern Highlands, a single malt was selected and stored in sherry casks for twelve years. It is interesting to note that the distillery, founded in 1798, matures its whisky in bourbon casks, because in 90% of the cases, the whisky is then blended for other brands. But from time to time, Blair Athol offers its own bottlings on the market, which are very much awaited by the whisky lovers.
