Description

Each vintage of this Champagne is a work of art. The composition is not based on an immutable recipe, but is always an illustration of the expertise of the cellar master, who creates a unique blend from a diversity of wines. This is why each vintage of Dom Perignon Vintage is not just an attempt to create the best Champagne in the world, but from a taste point of view, an absolutely individual adventure.

Tasting

THE NOSE: The bouquet is complex and luminous, combining white flowers, citrus fruit and stone fruit. The whole is stimulated by the freshness of aniseed and crushed mint. Spicy, woody and roasted notes finally emerge on breathing.

PALATE: Long introverted, the wine finally reveals itself. The coherence between nose and palate is total. The spindle-shaped profile is slender, pure, invigorating and athletic, and imposes itself with warmth. The fruit declaims loud and clear. The acidity that is the hallmark of the vintage is remarkably well integrated here. The aftertaste is essentially aromatic, grey, smoky and pervasive.

WINE AND FOOD Pairings: This fresh, warm champagne is the perfect accompaniment to both cooked and raw dishes, such as meat or seafood. The effervescence of this 2008 vintage is enhanced and intensified by its spicy notes, which make the wine denser. Dom Pérignon relishes playful experiments, such as culinary art or the union of textures and materials.
