Donnafugata cultivates its vineyards in Sicily where the climate is Mediterranean with dry summers that are windy and characterized by extreme temperature variations.

In the company's vineyards everything is focused on producing the best grapes possible. A project that wants to propose the excellence of Sicilian wine from different territories, all of them with extraordinary potential.

Eyes: Bright purple-red.

Nose: Youthful aromas of black cherry, rose, blackberry, and lilac, complemented by additional fruity notes.

Palate: Dry, balanced, with no harshness, and a pleasantly persistent finish.

Food Pairing: Perfect with ossobuco, sautéed veal liver with apples, onions, and balsamic vinegar sauce, or lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs.

Serving Temperature: 15 to 18°C (59 to 64°F).
