Description
Chateau Coustaut la Grangeotte is located in Ladaux, a rural commune in the Entre-deux-Mers region. The gold medal awarded at the International Exhibition in Antwerp in 1930 illustrates the history of this wine, which was known as one of the best in the Bordeaux region before the Second World War. The three generations that have followed since then have preserved the vineyard's clay-limestone soil.
Tasting
Eye: A lovely purple colour.
Nose: Rich, complex, fruity nose with aromas of red berries (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry).
Bouche: A very harmonious wine, with a supple, round attack. As it evolves, it becomes fleshy, the tannins are very well coated, and the aromas on the palate are fruity and persistent.
