Description
Feudi di San Gregorio is today the symbol of the oenological renaissance of Southern Italy and of a wine culture that aims to rediscover the identity of Mediterranean flavours.
To enhance the value of the vineyards of Southern Italy - such as Aglianico, Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo -, to invest in the land and in the age-old tradition of Irpinia's viticulture, giving a future to a unique environmental heritage.
Feudi di San Gregorio was founded in 1986 by two Irpinian families and has its roots in Sorbo Serpico, in the province of Avellino. There, the company immediately dedicated itself to reviving prestigious and authentic productions, in order to reach a quality standard that meets the most stringent market requirements.
Tasting
Appearance: It is yellow in colour with golden highlights.
Nose: Its fragrance is intense and persistent. The nose reveals clear fruit sensations, such as green plum and "Mast'Antuono" pear (typical of Campania), accompanied by pronounced balsamic sensations of wild mint.
Palate: its acidity and pronounced minerality, characteristic of the area, are immediately apparent.
Food & Wine Pairing: Excellent with raw fish and seafood, buffalo milk mozzarella, bass in white wine and baked sea bream.
