Morellino Di Scansano 2022

Campo Vernino Morellino di Scansano DOCG from the Geografico winery is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. Hand-picked and selected, this Morellino di Scansano is produced in the vineyards of the Le Preselle estate in the municipality of Scansano. Campo Vernino is matured in cask and then in bottle before being released for sale. It is a well-structured wine that is very pleasant to drink.

Its colour is an intense ruby red.

On the nose, it is intense and fairly complex, with notes ranging from fruity cherries to floral notes such as violets. Tertiary notes are less noticeable.

On the palate, Campo Vernino is dry, warm, fairly soft and fresh, with structured tannins and good sapidity.

It is a well-balanced, intense, persistent and refined wine.
