Herdade do Peso is a reference property in Vidigueira, Alentejo, developed over three decades by the Guedes family and Sogrape, based on the knowledge accumulated since the 1990's. With 160 hectares of vineyards, Herdade do Peso represents 10% of the total area owned by Sogrape in Portugal, Spain, Chile, Argentina and New Zealand. Sogrape is today a global family wine company with a strong international presence in more than 120 markets. Driven by the desire to bring Friendship and Happiness to all through their great wines.

Eye: ruby red.

Nose: Great aromatic complexity, dominated by ripe red fruit, black fig and pepper.

Palate: This is a powerful and very fresh wine. It reveals a powerful and well-designed palate, with a long finish and powerful, well-presented tannins.

Food pairing: Ideal with spicy meats, game and intense cheeses.
