Parras Vinhos was founded in 2010 by Luís Vieira and is currently based in Alcobaça.

Coming from a father and grandfather who have always worked with wine, Luís Vieira is the sole owner of this project.

The company is ranked among the 10 largest economic groups operating in the wine sector in Portugal.

In addition to representing a draught animal once used in agricultural work, "Mula Velha" is an expression used in Portugal to describe an experienced, wise, knowledgeable person. This wine is a good representation of that animal and philosophy. A person, who does not let himself be deceived.
