Description

Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons was founded in 1997 under the leadership of Dr Anton Rupert and Baron Edmond de Rothschild. The two men then passed the reins to their respective sons, Anthonij Rupert and Baron Benjamin de Rothschild.

Situated at the foot of the Simonsberg mountain, in the heart of the Cape Province and its historic wine region, this magnificent terroir benefits from the cool currents from Antarctica, but also from the high level of sunshine that is conducive to the ripening of the grapes. In 2015, a tasting centre and restaurant was opened to provide an exceptional food and wine tasting experience.

Palate : The smooth, silky texture supports spicy flavours, with hints of tea leaf and dark chocolate.
