Description
Joseph Drouhin's Santenay comes from the appellation in the south of the Côte de Beaune, a terroir renowned for its red wines made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. Domaine Drouhin, founded in 1880, is a key player in Burgundy winegrowing, combining tradition and innovation, with a biodynamic approach that deeply respects the terroir.
Tasting
‘A true terroir wine. A deep ruby colour, an intense nose of forest fruits: blackberries, bilberries, cranberries. The texture is often tannic when the wine is young. Long-lasting, with aromatic notes reminiscent of grenadine.’
