Castel Serranova Rosso 2019

Castel Serranova is a cru whose grapes come from a vineyard surrounded by dry stone walls designed to mark the threshold between the dynamism of the various elements of the surrounding nature reserve and the placid succession of seasons that will bring the grapes to maturity. The vineyard, called Vigna Castello, is the source of the most classic of Salento blends, Negroamaro and Susumaniello, with the latter predominating.

Eye: an intense ruby colour with violet highlights.

Nose: complex, intense and persistent, with hints of ripe cherry, blackberry, redcurrant, spices and balsamic notes.

Palate: harmonious, voluminous and consistent, with a strongly structured body and a thick, silky tannic texture
