Carsilia is located on the outskirts of Maienfeld. It is one of the oldest parcels in the largest wine-growing community in Graubünden. There is also an above-average proportion of old vines (over 40 years old). As in many places in Graubünden, the soil here has a high proportion of lime, has many stones and is interspersed with Graubünden slate. Most of the vines face south and benefit from optimal solar radiation. The wines that result from this have a firm core and full fruit.

Strong ruby with light violet reflections, aromas of ripe fruit, heart cherries, tobacco, spicy hints, notes from barrique aging, finely integrated, on the palate a soft attack, yet firm and structured, a lot of strength, fine tannins, fruit and length.
