Description
Founded in the 18th century, Château Ormes de Pez is located in the Médoc, in the Saint-Estèphe appellation. Owned by the Cazes family since 1940, Château Ormes de Pez has undergone extensive renovation and modernisation. The estate takes its name from the local dialect "pez", meaning "peace", and from the elm trees that existed on the estate before this variety became extinct in Europe. Reflecting the typical Saint-Estèphe style, the wines of Château Ormes de Pez combine deliciousness and bright fruit with a fleshy texture and powerful body that promise many years of cellaring.
