Le Griset Blanc, Spécialité de Findling 2024

The vineyard of the Domaine covers 10 hectares on the hill of Peissy, cultivated according to ecological methods (integrated production): fauna and flora cohabit with the work of man! The Domaine des Charmes, located in Peissy in the canton of Geneva, is renowned for its quality wines, notably the Griset Blanc, a specialty crafted from the Findling grape variety. This white wine is noted for its liveliness and delicate aromas of flowers and vineyard peaches

As is often the case in Geneva, here is a "foreigner" that could not be more appropriate: the old Findling grape variety, thought to be of German origin, is none other than the Bouvier de Hongrie! One thing at least is certain: Griset Blanc is the speciality of Domaine des Charmes, appreciated for its vivacity and for its notes of flowers and stone fruits.

Appearance: Clear robe with golden reflections.

Nose: Floral aromas with notes of vineyard peaches.

Palate: Lively attack, followed by fruity flavors and a nice freshness.

Food pairings: Ideal with seafood, grilled fish, or soft cheeses.

Serving temperature: Serve between 8 and 10°C.
