Description
The longest road in France (996 km), the Nationale 7, also known as the N7, was mainly used by Parisians on their way to the Côte d'Azur during the summer holidays. This most popular road in France passed through Sancerre, which, nestled on its rocky outcrop, saw tourists filling the trunks of their cars with wine, much to the delight of the winegrowers.
Through the Sancerre "N 7", they wished to highlight their parcels of "Caillottes" on which the berries are more mature than on the other two terroirs of the Appellation (Terres blanches and Silex). This maturity constitutes the "backbone" of this Sancerre, around which the aromatic and a beautiful vivacity gravitate.
