Donnafugata was founded in Sicily by a family that, thanks to its passion, has been able to innovate the style and perception of Sicilian wine throughout the world

Giacomo Rallo , the fourth generation of a family with over 170 years of experience in quality wine, founded Donnafugata in 1983 with his wife Gabriella , a pioneer in Sicilian wine making. Today, their children José and Antonio run the company and a team of people focused on excellence.

Damarino 2022 is the first wine in the world to use the Nomacorc Ocean closure, produced by recycling plastic collected from coastal areas and destined to end up in the oceans.

To the eye: Straw yellow in colour

To the Nose: delicate aromas of white flowers with fruity notes
fruity notes, among which citrus fruits stand out.

On the palate: it is delicate with a pleasant finish.

Food & Wine Pairing: It is a wonderful aperitif that goes perfectly with light fish and sea dishes. The wine should be served in glasses with a medium wide and medium high chalice; it can be uncorked just before serving.

Serving temperature: 9 to 11 °C.
