The history of Barbanera goes back to 1938, when Altero and Maria Franceschini, thinking of their future and that of their children, decided to open a small business linked to the world of wine.

Situated at the foot of Mount Cetona, in the beautiful and generous Tuscan terroir, the family business is now run by the fourth generation, which brilliantly combines values and tradition, while remaining attentive to contemporary challenges.

Deeply intense dark red colour with delicate purple hues.

Welcoming red fruits aroma of cherry and black cherry, complemented by complex bouquet of sweet spices and vanilla jump from the glass.

This is a full-bodied and elegant wine, enveloping and velvety on the palate with its smooth and structured tannins.

It can pair with roasted and grilled red meats of all kind, game and soft cheeses.
