Cingalino 2021

The Cigalino wine takes its name from the amusing animal depicted on its label, a clothed boar holding a grape in its hand, which reflects our Tuscan region beautifully.

The aim is to create a wine that is easy to drink, combining the complexity and roundness of Tuscan wines with the characteristics of French grape varieties, without compromising the flavour and fresh quality of traditional Tuscan wine. With this blend, Villa Pillo has achieved a wine of medium-dark colour, with vibrant flavours and aromas. Even in its youth, this wine is enjoyable to drink.

Each grape variety was fermented separately and then the Cigalino was aged for 6 months in 225 litre French casks, which had already been used for one year, adding a touch of elegance to our wine. We recommend that you enjoy this wine with grilled meats, cheeses and tasty pasta dishes to fully appreciate its flavours.
