Le Rouet 2020

From his mother, a cook from Marseille, Jean-Luc Colombo has an early taste for the pleasures of the table which naturally led him to study oenology. His dream of becoming a winegrower became a reality in the early 1980s with the acquisition of his first vineyard, a granite slope planted with old Syrah vines overlooking the village of Cornas.

With great strides, the vineyard grew and Jean-Luc Colombo could finally live his passion for wine to the full, based on a few solid principles: respect for nature and the natural balance of the different terroirs, the fruit of a reasoned alliance between traditional farming practices and the achievements of agronomy.
 

Le Rouet Rouge is a member of the Grands family. Its letters of nobility come from the sunny Hermitage hillside where the Syrah flourishes. Classic with tournedos Rossini and unexpected with pheasant with cabbage, it defies the decades.
