Les Lauves 2022

An expression led by the alliance of Syrah and granite

Terroir : Granitic terraces on the steep slopes of the Saint-Joseph appellation, surrounded by oak forests and acacia trees.

Vinification : The grapes are hand-picked, de-stemmed and vinified under controlled temperature. The wine is then aged for 12 months in barrels (15% new oak and the rest in 1 to 4 year old barrels).

Color : Deep yet bright color with violet reflections.

Nose : Complex nose with notes of small ripe fruits with nuances of violet, wild currant, and peppermint.

Palate : Quite harmonious, with a good aromatic persistence, fruity and spicy with
fine tannins.

Service :  at 18°C/64⁰F. Food matches Perfect to pair with flank steak marinated with wine, herbs, and shallots.
