Nebbiolo - Sommet 2019

Nebbiolo, typical of Piedmont, has always been present in the Aosta Valley, where it is traditionally grown under the name Picotendro in the alluvial valley floor of glacial origin (in the favourable Arnad and Issogne areas). Les Crêtes devoted itself to the vinification of this historic grape variety, to enhance its mountain identity. The result is Nebbiolo "Sommet", which means "high" in French, in honour of the mountains that surround its vineyards.

Colour: ruby-cherry.

Nose: fruity (blackberry, cherry), with hints of violet and balsamic nuances.

Palate: elegant, flavoursome, fresh, sweet and slightly spicy. Lingering finish.
