Mancino Vermouth is an Italian brand founded in 2011 by Giancarlo Mancino, a renowned bartender from Pignola, in the province of Potenza. Passionate about the art of vermouth, Mancino launched his own range of artisanal vermouths in 2012 at the Bar Convent Berlin, meeting immediate success. The production is entirely carried out in Italy, with a particular focus on the quality and authenticity of the ingredients.
Tasting
Eye: A slightly amber color, reflecting its maturation in oak barrels.
Nose: Complex aromas of alpine rose, chamomile, elderflower, gentian, mint, sweet orange, ginger, pink grapefruit, cardamom, licorice, and quinine.
Palate: A slightly bitter attack with citrus, ginger, and aromatic plant flavors. The presence of quinine adds a unique touch, with a lingering and spicy finish.
Food Pairings: Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with seafood, aged cheeses, and citrus-based desserts.
Serving Temperature: Best served chilled, between 8°C and 10°C, either neat or on ice with a slice of orange.
