Moscatel a/etui

Muscat is a grape variety with a long tradition and a strong presence on the Alijó plateau, where the Real Companhia Velha owns the Quinta do Casal da Granja. This sweet wine expresses all the aromatic characteristics of the variety, combined with the specific climatic conditions of the Quinta.

Vinification and ageing :
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, although only 50% of the must ferments in contact with the skins. The fermentation process is interrupted by the addition of brandy, preserving its sweetness and developing a liqueur-like texture.

Eye: Orange with light auburn highlights.

Nose: Very aromatic, with typical Moscatel aromas and hints of sultanas.

Palate: Harmonious, yet expressive and greedy, this wine is harmonious, yet expressive and greedy.

An excellent choice to round off a meal.
