Ripe al Convento - Castelgiocondo 2017

On the highest hills of the CastelGiocondo estate, where wines were already produced in 1800, a place has been found that offers a wine capable of arousing extraordinary emotions.

The altitude of 450 metres, the exposure to the hot afternoon sun, the galestro soils and the salubrious Mediterranean winds give this wine a unique and unforgettable personality with each Lamberto Frescobaldi vintage.
 

Eye: The 2017 Ripe al Convento has a bright, intense ruby-red colour with garnet-red highlights.

Nose: Intense aromas of red fruit, including blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry and raspberry.

Mouth: The balance is the relationship between the freshness provided by the fine acidity and the roundness due to the generous body. The very intense finish is very long and lingers well beyond.
