Description
Horácio Augusto Lourenço planted the first vines in the 1980s and laid the foundations for this dream of his. His son, Jorge Miguel Graça Lourenço, developed the viticulture, created the wines and structured the company as we know it today.
This wine is a tribute to the stories of José Lourenço, affectionately known as Avô Escrivão.
Tasting
Nose: Very fresh and intense, with seductive aromas of violets and very ripe wild Douro fruit.
Palate: very elegant and balanced, with a high concentration of red fruit, developing into a wine of excellent volume and solid structure, with fresh tannins and a fine, elegant texture. A wine with a captivating, long and persistent finish.
Food and wine pairing: This wine is recommended for festive occasions, to add sparkle to baked dishes.
Serving temperature: It should be decanted and served at a temperature of 14-16ºC.
