Oloroso sherry casks selected in Spain
Description
The Scottish Highlands offer an ideal climate for whisky production, which is why many distilleries were established here in the 19th century, including Glenfarclas, founded in 1836 by Robert Hay. To this day, the distillery is family-owned and run by the fifth and sixth generations, making it one of the few distilleries to retain its independence. Glenfarclas 12 Years is a Single Malt aged for twelve years in old Oloroso sherry casks, which are personally selected by the distillers in a bodega in Spain. This Single Malt Scotch whisky is distilled in the traditional Speyside style.
