The Glenturret distillery, located in Crieff in the Scottish Highlands, is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. Founded in 1763, it is renowned for its artisanal craftsmanship and the exceptional quality of its single malts.
Tasting
Appearance: Golden hue with copper highlights.
Nose: Aromas of buttery caramel, candied fruits, particularly orange peel, with subtle notes of vanilla and a spicy touch of ginger and cinnamon.
Palate: Soft attack with flavors of caramelized apple, followed by citrus notes and freshly cut wood. The mild spices, such as ginger and cinnamon, blend with hints of honeyed fruits and light oak, leading to a fruity and light finish.
